The Chipping Campden Rotary were invited to visit the Chipping Campden Youth Club in The Town Hall on Monday 9 February to see the games that had been purchased from funding provided by Rotary. President Geoff, Vice President Helen, Jan and Andy could see that the new games were an important part of the evening. Darts and a pool table are obviously a big hit for the youngsters. We left when parents were collecting their children at the end of the session and heard very positive comments that the new games had made a significant addition to the evening.

The Rotary are proud to support local kids because youth clubs can create a sense of belonging and community, provide activities that help young people develop skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication. Participating in activities and events can boost self-esteem and confidence in young people as they take on new challenges.

At our February 12th Rotary meeting we agreed another small donation to purchase more equipment for the Youth Club. Our President nominated the new 1st Meon Vale Scout Group to receive a donation to support the new group which includes children from across the local area.
